Much like the founders of Concordia so many years ago, we approach the gift of each day with a plan to leap into the future. What do we have up our sleeve?
The Gorgeous New Coburg Residence Hall
How about living in a building that overlooks some of the most expansive lake bluffs anywhere in the United States? The soaring new Coburg residence hall presents an inspiring serenity that is simply unrivalled. In fact, it was even used to house the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams as they chose Concordia University Wisconsin as the site for their 2008 training camp. Residence life at Concordia provides a welcome, comfortable place to live and study, with opportunities for small group worship and leadership development.
Environmental Education
Our unique position on Lake Michigan affords an unprecedented opportunity for leadership in environmental studies. We’ve added a major in environmental studies and minors in environmental education. Our goal is to build a facility overlooking the lake that features laboratories, class rooms, lecture halls and other amenities.
Athletic Facilities
As a member of the Northern Athletics Conference, we want to continuously compete with other schools for more talented student athletes and maintain our winning tradition. Not only do new facilities provide more opportunity to develop Christian leadership skills within the athletic program and in the world, it increases the fan experience for all of our students.
Service to the World Center
The new facility will become a Convocation Complex where the edge of Concordia touches the world. It will serve as a student gathering place, a location for administrative offices, classrooms and meeting rooms. The Center will offer a signature structure to differentiate Concordia and our mission.
